Welcome to Le Club Montléon, a picturesque château hotel/bed and breakfast in the medieval part of Chauvigny. This is a charming, characteristic and old village in the greenest parts of France.      We who welcome you are Maud and Hans who found this ancient pearl and immediately fell in love. We can ensure you that you will enjoy your stay.       Chauvigny and the surroundings present many different and interesting spots of genuine roman cultural value like monasteries, castles and churches. In addition to this, the wine yards are situated next door and the region flourish from agricultural specialities. The market each Saturday, all year around, is visited by people from long distances. In the quarters of our house, you find nice restaurants, museums and antiquities stores.

Within a distance of 40 km, you may play golf at four golf courses. If you want to take a swim or paddle the canoe the river Vienne floats right through Chauvigny. In the evenings you can enjoy the calm and exclusive silence with a glass of quality wine below the acacia in our garden, facing the magnificent  view over the Vienne valley. On the other hand, you may stroll the massive stone alleys and enjoy an outdoor concert in our neighbour castle. This will be an unforgettable stay.
      We will be happy to assist you to get the utmost out of your vacation or conference. Our rooms are all different, decorated on variable themes and with the old charm left. Don't hesitate to present your wishes and forward questions to us.

Booking conditions:
The booking is not considered confirmed until a prepayment of 30% of the total value of the booking is settled. In case of cancellation 15-30 days ahead of arrival half of the deposit is reimbursed, in case of cancellation less than 15 days ahead there is no reimbursment.
 

How to find your way here

It is easy to travel to Poitiers and Chauvigny from Great Britain or the US! Ryanair flies regularly to Poitiers, Tours, La Rochelle and Limoges. Our closest airport is in Poitiers.

By train the communication is smooth. Use the tunnel and TGV through Paris!

Travellers coming from over-seas are recommended to go through Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and choose the TGV-train for Poitiers directly at the airport.

Please let us know your arrival time and we may pick you up at the airport or at the railway station.

Once in Chauvigny, head for "la ville haute" and the church Saint Pierre. We are situated on the south side of the church, at 8, pl Saint Pierre.

During the main season there is a "borne" at the entrance of bird's show (Spectacle de Aigles), which prevents you from reaching our entrance from Rue Saint Pierre. Choose Rue de Rampes to the left insted and park as soon as possible. We are very close!
